Use of these royalty free photos is completely without cost and the gallery currently includes an impressive collection of superb professional images that are suitable for business and personal needs. There are currently in excess of 250 high resolution images available; ranging in subject from the inanimate to the whimsical and users are assured to be able to find just the right photograph to add the perfect polish to every project large and small. CS5.org revealed recently some video showing a selection of features that are being developed by ‘Photoshop Labs’, including Painter-style brushes, a new warp tool and more.

GIMP version 2.7.0 has been released. Among the new features is the capability to read JPEG2000 files (.jp2).
GIMP (The GNU Image Manipulation Program) is a free software raster graphics editor, available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Primarily, GIMP is used as a tool for photo manipulations, such as resizing, editing, and cropping photos, combining multiple images, and converting between different image formats. GIMP can also be used to create basic animated images in the GIF format.
